Will India ever be a Cashless Society?

India has come a long way, in globalization and in technological advancement. In fact, Indians are now at the forefront of this very evolving field. However, in all of this praise and acknowledgements, people often forget the rural areas. 90% of India is still rural, living in villages, without running water or electricity, and without basic education. Though things have been improving over time, there is still a long way to go. While the metros might turn into a cashless society sometime soon in the future, all of India might take longer than what most people are hoping for. And even in the metros there are people who still don’t have basic education or the technical know-how to become a complete Cashless Society.
